Scroll down to the Bobofatt comment. Basically, in certain circumstances (where its in a pre checked group), Bobo will let it go, but he mentions that other Support won't.

yup, i already read it. but it's not something telling support have no problem with such giveaways. i wouldn't count on it. remember lina's reply? (of course you do. you already mentioned it.) it was rather harsh. :P

One option is you can give back the gift and tell the creator no to create giveaways for region restricted gifts. Then tell him to ask support to delete the giveaway. Leave a comment on the giveaway page saying it's ok to delete the giveaway.

Another option is as mentioned by other people is that you keep the gift but mark it as not received.

Up to you how you want to choose.

Keeping the gift as not recivied that is from a Russian player,oh well,is same as using for personal/trade needs. Of course it needs system to detect region locked giveaways and games.

Region-locked games aren't allowed in giveaways, period. That's the only system you need. :P
