It holds up really well. The gameplay is really solid and the graphics are surprisingly good for a game of that age. The only problem is getting it to run on higher resolutions, but even that wasn't too difficult.

fair point. I was very happy when RRT3 was bundled; now I get RCT2 as well. Gonna waste more hours on these games than I would on most modern AAA titles

Honestly, I've installed it but haven't started playing yet (I'm a procrastinater with new games). I always liked the idea, but previous Day-Z clones have looked weak in one way or another. This is the first I've seen that looks on point with devs who give a shit. Guess I'll find out.
