I gifted the game, but person seems to be banned.

So, I had an old giveaway and I remembered to give the gift away finally. So, I did and the winner seems to be banned on this site, so he gave me the gift back.
As you can see by chat:
5:12 AM - Typ60: Thank you, but I see I was banned on steamgifts

So, that means I will have to deal with a bad percentage of users or what?

So, are you saying that your giveaway ended a month ago and you just now got around to giving away the game? And are you asking if you're going to always have a "not received" strike against you that will always affect your giveaway percentage? You don't deserve a reroll - the user might not have even been suspended at the time the giveaway ended. The giveaway is over, you didn't give your gift away like you were supposed to. Take your lumps and do a better job next time. Honestly, that's all there is to it. If you give away enough games and get them to the winners within the time limit, it will decrease your "not received" percentage to the point that people will be more forgiving and will be willing to enter your giveaways.

I usually only check if it's a suspicious-looking giveaway, but there are enough people on the site that at least one person will check the giver's feedback before entering. If their rep is really hinky, people tend to mention it on the giveaway page.

^ I totally agree with you. You can't be excused because you "forgot" to gift the game. You're supposed to make active effort to deliver the game to the winner. If you make a giveaway, it's your responsibility too see it through.

1 month ago? Holy hell! I have a feeling that you probably didn't give the winner Dota 2 a month ago because you probably traded it or gave it away. With extra copies flooding Steam today you probably tried to give it to your old winner since you couldn't trade/give it away now.

how did you only just "remember to give the gift away"? :O when your giveaways end, youre told so with a large green bar that looks very much like the one you have when you win a giveaway
