I remember there were these proxy websites or whatever that I used to use with my iPhone 3G(jailbroken and unlocked)that even though I didn't have an internet plan, I was still able to use the internet and I wasn't charged for it. It was only for the T-Mobile carrier though. It was called ifailhard. :p
That was 3-4 years ago and it wasn't 3g...maybe 2g or whatever it was that came before that. I'm paying $20 a month for 4g now. :/

So, I'm not quite sure of the feasibility of this, but a friend asked me to research this, so I'm asking the savvy people of SG :)
So basically my friend spends half his time in Spain, and the other half in Thailand, and wants to get a tablet which will have 3G connection in both, and preferably in the stopover airports along the way too.
He recently got an Amazon Kindle which has 3G access all over the world without any need for a subscription
The catch is this though:
He doesn't want to pay a subscription for the 3G, like on the Amazon Kindle. I know it's highly unlikely something like this is available, but I figured I'd take a shot in the dark anyway.
Thank you to you all :D And here's a little giveaway for you all while we're at it :) (Sorry for the fact that it's a bundle game, not exactly rich atm :/)
