Dubstep is dial-up coming back to haunt us. In some cases though, it can sound quite good though, but I'd rather go listen to the normal trance, techno, and electronic.

Genius. Maybe if broadband modems periodically disconnected and played 56k dial-up modem sounds for 30 seconds before reconnecting the current generation would develop an aversion to it.

Yes, this must sound really strange in your parent's ears, music from way back when your parents were younger is much more melodious.
