Use SteamGifts Plus to filter it out, I done it and now the DLC does not show anymore :)

Well the 'hide dlc for games you don't own' doesn't seem to work for this. I don't like adding games to filter because I might forget about it and won't see if I get the game.

I add all DLC I can't use. When you buy a game, just always check your filters to see if there is anything in there for it. Easiest way to not miss out.

As a previous poster already remarked, install SteamGifts Plus and you can set a filter to hide the darn DLC.
Just paste its name in 'Game Filters'.

The extension is great.
You can configure it to make your steamgifts page look like this:
