Nah, it does it on legit keys too. I remember last year I bought a ton of bundles just for the heck of it and had to wait a second day to redeem the rest of the keys. :(

You get like 40 or 50 attempts per day whether valid or not, used or unused.

I did it in about two secs! I was spamming f5 and had the steam window purposefully at the bottom of the screen so it'd take the least amount of time to reach and paste. No way was I too slow. :P
