Nope. The first carts end on my bday ;) That's why I always start in November. And then it goes until the 24th (the day when german kids get the presents). Aaaaand there are as many carts included as I might or might not be turning that year.

Seriously. I mean, it is adventuring even if its at lower risks (and still theres risks, more so from delayed flights and mugging but the odd bear too)
Theres some challenge, the unknow, the feeling of accomplihsment at the end... but the main course being the journey and experience, and of course escaping the borigness sameism of our daily lives. Too safe, too samey
And theres achievements too. Theyre invisibe sure, altough we can share some via photos. Even the first time you set up a tent right is an achievement.

In Schleswig-Holstein you have perfect base to go camping in Norway. I went from Poland to Hirsthals in Denmark for the ferry to Norway, one of my favoritest places on Earth.

It's been a year. So guess what's going to happen?
Yes, you're right. There is a bday-/xmas train from me!

I botched up the start time of a couple of carts - sorry for that.
I hope you all had a great year.
Mine was so-so - nothing new there, I guess. But I did rent a camper van and went on holidays! Set off all by myself, did a couple of things on my own. But mostly I've been out and about to visit friends on the other side of Germany. That was pretty exciting \o/
Not yet sure if I'll do a trip next year and if so, where too. But I know I want to travel more. I just love it and rarely feel so free!
With that in mind, enjoy the ride:
