Bundle rules in the FAQ, look them up. They even link to it in the giveaway creation screen.

Keep reading. You cap out at $30 if you only gift bundle games. You can recover the value by giving non-bundle games.
Games marked with an asterisk (*) are Bundle Games.

They are bundle games, did you actually contribution $30? I doubt you did, they are bundle games that you could get for a couple dollars and because of that,we decrease their values on this site by limiting how much contribution points you get from the giveaways

Actually, they explained it correctly. Please read this admin post

"It takes 2 minutes to figure this out, just a simple search. I can't believe everyone is this lazy/stupid" Yes it is simple, I understand it, but since I'm already here, why wouldn't I just wait for someone with a bit of decency to explain it properly to me, this conversation is over.

i really love linking this to "its not fair kids" on this forum :)

Posting links containing Playblink and Tremorgames referrals almost invariably ends up in a [short] suspension.
It usually seems to be a couple of days, so if the worst happens, at least it won't be too long before you're back on the site again :)
As a piece of friendly advice, you'd do well have a proper read of the FAQ in the meantime, to save yourself falling foul of any more Steamgifts rules.

While that's true, chances are he was oblivious to the "no referrals" rule.
It would surprise me if he had deliberately broken the rules in this case :)

Suspensions are warnings. You don't really think we can track down everyone who breaks the rules and try to send them a friend request that they may or may not accept just to tell them that they broke a rule which they may or may not respect anyway, do you? Not all instances of initial violations are out of ignorance, and we don't have the manpower to go to such unreasonable lengths to try and ensure the rules are followed when the burden of knowing and sticking to them is with the user even if we wanted to.

What a shame you only got $30 of CV for those games that you obviously paid $70 for! Quite unfair indeed!

See my reply and link above. In short, if you only gift bundle games, you cap at $30.

"it's not very fair"
You know, some people spend 10$ to get 30$ contributers value and you are crying to get even MORE (=110?) out of 1$? This is just not the system. Also: Read the FAQ

I have and it's been linked to me, I'm not closing this thread yet so that way mods/admins or whatever can look over Moondra's bullying... This is pretty much just verbal harassment, but I'm not gonna come back to this thread, just gonna let staff handle it :)

it lacks sparkling red text, but it's a step in the right direction

Me too. It had all the hallmarks of a good trollsome giveaway.
Rarely have I ever felt so deflated 【・ヘ・】
Comment has been collapsed.
yes this is normal.
when giving away bundle games, your CV maxes out at $30, even if you gave 2 bundle games.
i think the first one you gave got you maxed out at $30, so the second one doesn't give anything, as you've already gotten to the $30 limit. giving more bundle games will not increase this ammount.
to get more CV, non-bundle games must be given.
by the way, thanks for your giveaways :)

The reason you may be getting less than friendly responses is because this is one of the most common questions posed by new members to the site. There are usually 5+ of them a day on the forums asking why they haven't been getting their "hard-earned" CV, with half of them proceeding to bitch about it prior to and after having it explained to them. We're all a little tired of seeing these threads pop up and addressing the same questions. With that out of the way, I hope your question was answered by someone above/below. :)

Well I feel quite upset at the responses regardless of the circumstances and I will be no longer making giveaways here at all, they are wasted on arrogant people who have no compassion for those who just did them a favour and got them a free game.
And I've been thanking everyone who was nice for being nice, as an attempt to make everything a bit brighter and more happy, but to no avail of course, silly me...

Sorry for the people being rude. They're just jaded from the many threads they've seen of this exact question. Though I do have to wonder why they must post their rudeness if they are indeed so tired. You'd think they'd just choose not to click on such topics anymore.
Although you have been told many times before I must stress that you read the FAQ thoroughly. It will have a lot of useful information including that with which you can avoid suspensions. It's easy to get a suspension from just not knowing but that's not a valid excuse.

I can tolerate these threads. Heck, I was one of these people. Granted, I didn't make a thread, but I almost did, so I know where you're coming from. However, reporting users for no reason and putting referral links? Come on. It's obvious you lack knowing the rules of the website because you were too lazy to read the FAQ which is THE VERY FIRST POST ON THE FORUM PAGE. Plus, you're arrogant as hell! You expect people to treat you with respect and kindness with your attitude and how your actions have been? Keep dreaming, bud. Clean up your act, read the rules, and soak them in. It'll make your experience on this website a lot better.
EDIT: The saddest part of this all, is that you've been a member for 5 months.
Another Edit: Oh no, you're gonna stop making giveaways for "arrogant" people? Another trait of arrogance- calling others arrogant. I don't think I'm arrogant, more on the line of pissed off, than anything. We'll miss your bundle giveaways so much. Please, we apologize for EVERYTHING, just come back and give us your games that hundreds of others have given away in the past few days alone!

Meh. This would have been a pretty open and shut topic/question if you didn't come in with the entitled attitude. Take a step back, realize that some people are answering out of frustration to what appears to be your initial fervent desire to not accept the answer given, close the topic, and move on. Just because you didn't get the answer you were looking for doesn't exclude it from being the right answer, for future reference. Amazingly enough, some people hate having to repeat the same answer over and over...

Am I too late to not care about not gaining contribution value?

and if you are bad with mathematic calculations, maybe after you read through hundreds of comments in the last thread you will find your answer why your contributor value is limited at 30$.

Seriously, this is getting out of hand.
There's so many threads asking this question, instead of calling them lazy for not searching/reading the FAQ, can we PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get a thread created & stickied that has a catchy title and explains in very simple terms why their CV may not be rising?
You could include a link to the rules as well, I guess. If they don't want to read them, that's their problem, but I bet that creating this thread would severely cut down the number of threads asking this question.

Maybe require all new users to type out the entire FAQ post without error before being able to enter or create giveaways. Perhaps automatically lower the bundle only CV cap to $0.00 for any user who makes a thread with titles like the one for this thread until a community-based review panel approves the removal of the restriction by a democratic vote.

I recently made 2 different giveaways on 2 different days, both giving away the same thing, when the first one finished and I got positive feedback so to speak, I had donated $30.00 on my total, after the 2nd one got positive feedback, I still only had $30.00, why is this happening? Is it normal? If it is it's not very fair!
FOR ALL THE PEOPLE CALLING ME STUPID AND WHAT NOT: If you read the full thing properly, I know it's a bundle, I know it's cheap, but when I get credit for the first one, I expect some sort of credit for the 2nd, I got zip for the 2nd giveaway. So don't call me stupid, unless you read the full question and/or give a decent answer that is fully applicable to this situation.
Yeah, I love this forum, so nice and friendly....
Thankyou
