How many days I need to wait to request a new winner? Can I request a new one now?
There's a option to send by email, of course, but I'm not feel "secure" using this one, I prefer to send the gift direct by steam.

But if you won a giveaway and that person is adding you, you know why they are adding you.

Passed a day since the giveaway finish. I tried to add twice with no luck.
I feel this person want to do in his way as this person had lots of win.
I will try to write in the profile.

I forget that not everyone has SG always open in a tab.

When someone that I do not know tries to add me on Steam I usually check SG to see if it's from here. I leave the invite on limbo (not accepted and not refused) until I check.

It's just seems a bit unfair that the GA's maker has to do all the work. The people that enter GAs and win them should also have some initiative.

It's kind of a reflex to some of us by now. I've automatically declined all out-of-blue friend requests for years. It has hard to drop that habit when I started using this site.

Send them an email if you are unable to post on their wall.

They have one week to claim their gift. You'll have to try to have sent an email to the winner though, so I'd say that the wisest way to handle this is to send a "FYI" email, as in "Hey, you won my giveaway, reply to this email to confirm before I send you the game".

Did you change your avatar just to mess with people trying to catch you ?

Write a message in one of his/her giveaways to add you for the win.

I typically send an email after they refuse warning them that I'll request a re-roll shortly.
Usually gets a quick response to accept.
I don't understand how people enter games, see who the owner is, but don't see where the friend request is coming from first before rejecting.
Now you have to run around trying to give them their game.

If you have their e-mail and they refuse your Steam request, then you should send by e-mail. I don't think them ignoring you on Steam is a valid reason for bailing out on sending the gift. The mail will be sent through your Steam client and your own e-mail won't be exposed, and you can withdraw the gift with the same ease as if you sent it through Steam. I'd go as far as to say that it's a poor excuse to not send the game and I'm surprised how many people here are actually seriously suggesting to re-roll (including a support member posting twice without answering OP) when the e-mail option is completely valid.
If he doesn't accept the gift through e-mail after seven days, then you can request a re-roll (and withdraw your gift).

If you're giving away DLC, the only safe way is to add them on Steam. If you try sending a gift to someone in your friend list, you will see if they already own it. If you send it via email, you can't. This works even if they have a private profile.

If you are giving a key, you can still use this method by choosing "Add to Cart" on the Steam store page, then "Purchase as a gift" then "Send my gift directly through Steam." Then empty your cart, so you don't forget later... :)

It's not that people are trying to cheat you, often they don't know what giveaways they entered, or if they already own the thing they just won...

Question, did you note that you'd be sending it through Steam?
If you didn't, people won't know to not auto-ignore your friend request.

In that case, if you can't get a hold of them by: Commenting on one of their previous public Steamgifts giveaways, commenting on their Steam profile, or e-mailing them to add you, then you need to contact support and have them contact the winner for you.

Staff here won't agree to your reroll without all of that- and screenshot validation- so even if a week passes, if you don't keep your giveaway updated with notes on your contact attempts, and you don't have screenshots, and you haven't contacted support, you're likely not getting the reroll right away.

I had someone once who did not allow comments on his profile, refused my friend requests twice, and had no email that I could find. I gave screenshot evidence of the friend requests after a week passed and got a reroll promptly. (It was a key, incidentally, but they never clicked the Received button.)
