My mom went outside to have a cigarette one day, and I came outside too. Well, the door was preset to lock, and she didn't bring her keys with her. We waited outside for two hours in the Florida heat (it was 90 F/32 C) for a locksmith to come.

i busted out a small window and then after I got in I just went to ace hardware and had them cut me a new one it didnt cost more then 5 bucks

i locked myself out once and had to break into my own room wearing nothing but a towel.

Had to climb in through the front garden window after realizing I had locked myself out of the house while gardening. Ain't that fun.

Once had to climb into a second floor bathroom window, got stuck squeezing through the window. Had to call my brother in law to help me out.

I left my keys in the apartment, went from a neighbors balcony onto my balcony, smashed one of the smaller Windows with a Hammer (Glas is pretty tough actually) and climbed in - you must know the smaller windows were really the upper ones of a set of windows at the balcony (around 30x30cm large) - exciting feeling - didn't like the repair costs, though.
