Super nice of you <3

How do you know I don't have the base game sitting in my cart to be bought in a minute but I can only barely afford said base game and not the dlcs?
Comment has been collapsed.
Why not activate the game? Then reply to the thread owner and request for the DLCs again instead of throwing a generic question back? I understand what you mean by having the game(s) on standby. I have games that I bought in bundles but I did not activate them as the game(s) itself has many DLCs which is usually the case for Humble Bundles. Therefore, next time kindly request to reserve as the thread owner comment. Cheers~

It's good of you to give these keys away. In the same spirit, I noticed you have Mirror's Edge in your wishlist; I happen to have a spare Origin key, if you're interested. Just let me know...

Ah, my Steam key is long gone, I'm afraid... Have a blueheart instead. Cheers

Very kind of you to do this. I am also thinking of doing something similar with extra codes from Indiegala flash, some games I've won previously which I thought I might play, probably not but not sure if the key works. I am only using a single monitor setup so I am lazy to track the codes now currently other priorities arise higher.
I have thought of setting rules like the receiver has to activate in their account. Mainly I want to find a home for "them". Don't have to play it, some may want it just for the numbers on their steam. That is fine with me, I had thought of getting as much games on Steam as possible before when I started using Steam but now, I thread carefully of the games I buy and play.
Warm regards for your effort and generosity. Cheers :D

Having a lot to choose from can be troublesome - I know that!
Stopped entering all those random giveaways due to that - nowadays I'm just entering giveaways from my wishlist (except maybe 2% of the GAs :P)
Well, a multi-monitor (2 in my case) is very helpful to keep track of things. Especially when creating posts and you can just see what you have on one side and enter stuff on the other. It's easier to have both windows completely instead of doing 50/50 on one screen^^

Indeed, before, i set out to win "Everything" possible but after learning I would play them after trying out "Journey To The Center Of The Earth" it was a hard lesson. I just can't scratch myself into the game. I rather spend more time on more quality games than to give random games a chance nowadays.
Even as I curate my choices, I have hundreds if not thousands to chose from. Another motto I go by now is to rather spend hundreds of hours replaying a great game like CIV or Witcher than trying to play a bug/incomplete/poorly designed game like "Journey To The Center Of The Earth" its sad, I would have liked to give chances to all games. "All games are create equal" ;) Reality tells you not. Hahaha
Yes, 2 monitors will be great, I am still using an old system with GTX 220 and single monitor. Looking out for a good deal recently and to upgrade to 1070 and finally able to play more graphics intensive and visually pleasing games. I do alt+tabs alot but at times it gets annoying and I unknowingly will close an app/tab/window accidentally while checking.
Cheers, Cruse~

Can't disagree with anything you said there.
Using a GTX1070 myself - I am very pleased with it's performance! (Upgraded from a GTX650 during Summer '17).
That's also a problem of mine - I stay with the same games over and over... I am probably missing out on a lot of great games since I'm always like.. "Yeah, that's intresting. Let's try it." - I download it.. But everytime I want to start it it's like "meh.. let's do this later."

I was hoping for RTX to drop the price down more, visited a local computer fair recently and it seems to only drop $50 and I have been waiting for RTX launch for so long . . . I am hopeful for the year end fair in november to see a more favorable price. The price of a custom PC was more acceptable than I had thought they would cost though. If I could I might go for 1070ti and skip 1080 as its price is still high for me.
I do not believe its a problem nor mistake to keep playing a certain game. Unless you're a streamer or esport gamer. then it may be a chore or work for you. If you keep playing the same game like I do with Dont Starve together and CIV III it just means i enjoy the game and I am not even good the games. I just play to my own comfort level and enjoy the games as they allow me play at my own pace while enjoying the game as well.
My favorite thing to do is playing a game and listening to music in the background. I can do that with those games and whether I scum-save or play on the easiest level in CIV III, I have my own way to enjoy the game by placing my troops like chess pieces or slowly building up cities to max level and planning. I find my own way of enjoyment and joy of gaming comes from such. :D Cheers~

Hopefully they'll drop soon. Ordering online and building it yourself will often come out way cheaper than local stores (even tho buying local is a good thing).
Well, I guess anything is fine as long as you enjoy it. No matter how "good" the actual game might be rated. Enjoying the time you spend on gaming makes it worthwhile (:

I am familiar with the parts but not with putting them together. Not really in the position that if something goes wrong I'll have to make another purchase for replacement thus I rather let the company have that issue and just point that its their fault if anything goes wrong. That's what and why I am paying them for. :D
A good game is one you enjoy. If you are able to find joy in a game others don't that is great for you. I am not highly into greater graphics but actual gameplay and how much I will get out and enjoy the game. :)

It looks harder than it is :P Thought the same way first before I build it xD
You could order the parts separately to save money and go to the PC store so they put it together for you - ofc you'll have to pay the working time but you could save some money that way (or use online configurators) - or just buy a pre-build one, since there seem to be some decent builds out there sometimes :P
It's up to you in the end (:
Yes, great gameplay can surely beat any graphic. Enjoying to look at a game might be nice, but playing it is way more enjoyable.

I am more worried about overheating as at times I leave the PC on and falls asleep so at times, I extended my usage unknowingly. The current PC i am using is a custom made as you mentioned, I shop the parts and got them put together in a PC store. I was lucky to meet someone whom was young, honest and helpful who was there for internship. The PC is running great apart from once a capsule on the MB blew due to Overheating but that was when I did not air/ventilate or blow the PC with a fan.
Thus I let the temperature run high. Now I just take out the side panel and have a 16" blowing straight from the back. Its not easy to meet anyone honest and helpful, furthermore willing to change parts if it overheats within a year. I live a tropical state and somehow my apartment is way hotter than it is outside and there isn't much blocking the front of my apartment as there is sufficient gap for air-flow and its really cooling along the corridor at times but the air just do not ventilate inside.
Indeed at this point since its a big jump from current system an I am thinking of continuing to use my current PC too as an additional setup so the heat might trickle up. All in all its like buying an insurance where it better suits my needs. :D

Its pretty hot if I leave the case closed. Perhaps it has to do with the temperature of where I live. When I visited the Computer Fair I approached a salesperson and mentioned my concern on heat. He too recommend to open the case to cool which came at my surprise. Since I have also thought about leaving your case open can lead to static/static buildup from external sources.
Perhaps modern machines are better cooled. Maybe the newer Fan rpm is much higher than what I had. :) Well, at least I will be as crazy to think of putting it in a freezer. hahaha~

hopefully you will get a setup that won't overheat! Can only recommend a different CPU cooler - never had any problems with mine so far.
And you might also focus on the fans when buying a case ... I can't help you with that though, but I am sure there are a lot of recommendations for that on the internet c:

Since, I blew my previous MotherBoard before, I am just being careful and at times I'll put my hand into the empty space inside the case to feel the temperature and I can at times feel the heat. I used to sleep in the room by the corridor so being a private person, I don't open the window at all and dust gets in if I open the win often. The room can get pretty hot, since there was no AC at times I have to take off my top as I am sweating from the heat build up. I forgot to mention that I hasn't really replace the Thermal paste for years now hahaha, my badm although its time for a new system too.
Now that my siblings moved out, I used the empty room with is better ventilated imo and although the PC generates the same heat; It is way bearable. There is also AC in this room despite an old noisy unit. I do not do too well being cold either in days that is cooling like today, even blowing max speed from a fan makes me feel cold. I do not want to cover up myself just to use the Comp hahaha
Indeed, I am looking into fans. Talked with the staff at the computer fair asked about water cooling but he recommend air fans is sufficient if I open the case which he does himself. Don't worry, i am not asking for recommendations. I like to share my thoughts and experience, in the odd chance that either others have the same experience or a different but better recommendation.
Hopefully you didn't find me a bother in the end, ;) Sincere Regards, Cruse~

I ain't bothered that easily, so don't worry :P
I am just hoping that you will find a decent setup with the necessary cooling to keep it cool.
Maybe we'll see each other in the games soon then? :P
Stating it the way you do, I am grateful to live in a country with quite average temperatures^^
Good luck with your future setup though!

Thank you for the consideration. :)
I just prefer to at times "overthink" on things just to be sure, especially something I'll most likely use daily and isn't cheap for me. hahaha I do intend to do more MP games in future, just not sure how well the internet here hold towards EU and NA. Mine is a basic plan, its stable to play for games like Don't starve but not too sure on other MPs which also require more system resources. Although its stated 300Mbps its just the local spike count standard from ISPs.
If I was to be reborn and choose a place to live in, I probably still chose here. Its a safe haven here, there's no natural disasters except occasional floods here. There's no seasons here just Rain, Sun, Rain and More Sun hahaha. Indeed, I feel because the computer and most electronics are not invented in Tropical areas like mine so temperature and overheating was not put into consideration. At times I thought it might be better to live in the US as the platform, parts and peripherals are cheaper, abundant and easily accessible. I guess that's where the competitive edge lines. Then again, I still wish to live here, though at a higher cost for items and a rising cost of living. That's the price to pay, hmm~

Oh, looked up its page on Steam but didn't notice. Guess I'm getting blind :)
Thanks anyway.
EDIT: right, October Expansion.

I assume you own the game, considering your amount of games^^
My phone didn't even load them so I couldn't check yet xD
If you do own the base game: sure. Gonna send you the key tomorrow evening (won't be at my PC before that /: + too lazy to do it all from my phone)
