DC since I am a fan of Batman and Teen Titans, but the Marvel MMO is turning out pretty awesome. Also, Marvel has Squirrel Girl and I love squirrels.

I would say Marvel, I prefer their superheroes more. From DC, I like only Batman. And maybe Superman a little.

Marvel, the heroes from DC are too powerful, which makes their world too ideal. Marvel has weaker heroes and a world that goes through chaos a lot more often. That said, both are good.

too powerful? isn't one hero from marvel a god?

You mean Thor? Sure, he's a god, but he's not almighty.
DC on the other hand has almost invincible Superman.
Batman, who is just too much of a genius - mind and science + martial arts at man's peak (but that's exactly why he's awesome).
Flash, who is faster than light AND even faster than teleportation. He rescued bunch of people from atomic bomb explosion in the nick of time. And many more.
They are overpowered much more than Marvel heroes.

I love Marvel too,but if we have to choose,DC is my favorite.

Both companies have great heroes and villains.
But if I had to choose it would most likely be Marvel because they tend to have more interesting background stories for their characters. And I'm a massive Wolverine and Deadpool fan too.

But Batman and Superman makes the choice a little bit harder due to their awesomeness. And DC have one of the if not the most powerful character: Doctor Manhattan.

If I had to limit myself to choose between the two, I'd go for Marvel. The character drama just hits better. DC might have better heroism, characters aimed to appeal to our better nature and the overcoming of odds and evil, but Marvel heroes tend to walk the fine line of morality and battling their personal demons alongside the obligations held in their innate heroism. Xavier and Cyclops for example. In fact, of significance, Marvel has a whole subsection of heroes that specifically deal with being unaccepted by society. Now thats some reality you can take to the bank.

However you should never limit yourself to one or the other, both companies offer good characters/stories/etc. In fact branch out into some independent companies as they have some amazing titles as well. My thoughts at least.

Marvel over DC, but Batman over Marvel.

Things have changed, but I'm just used to the way it was where pretty much every DC comic other than Batman, the world was bright and nice and shiny and good deep down. Batman was about the world being gritty, dark, and bad with a few people who are decent. Marvel always just seemed more grounded in reality... There's sort of a middle ground. Most characters and bystanders aren't really evil or really good... they're just people with their own motivations.
