Campaign? I knew a few, but not many "campaign". Off the top of my head:

If it can be third and not first person:

It is quite enjoyable. Though I imagine it's a lot more frustrating if you aren't in the same room as the person you are co-oping with. Communication is important for that one.

Darkness 2 isn't really a full co-op campaign, more like a short side story with coop feature.
Similar to this short side-story coop mode, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and 3 have pretty fun coop mode called Spec Ops.
RAGE have one too.
The main game is still single player only.

OP: Avoid PAYDAY 2 and possibly all Overkill games. The community hates them because of a million broken promises and the monthly DLC. Of my old friends who have played hundreds of hours of PD2 (myself included) probably 80% don't play at all any more, and that isn't just normal attrition because of boredom or other games that are more exciting. A lot of it has to do with active anger toward the devs and the development of the game. PAYDAY: The Heist is inferior, but the cost is low and fixed, which is kind of important when comparing it to the sequel.
Killing Floor 2 is pretty good. Killing Floor is fine, but inferior to the sequel.
Left 4 Dead 2 is pretty cool if it's new to you. Left 4 Dead is inferior to the sequel as well (except that you have feet!) If you and/or your friends have no experience with this series, definitely pick up L4D2.
F.E.A.R. was fun, but I didn't play co-op.
Borderlands series can be fun but I get kind of bored of it quickly. But people love playing it co-op.
Of third-person games, Saints Row 3 and IV are pretty damn fun co-op games. Don't bother to get Gat Out of Hell.
Very unrelated to FPS, but if you can do local co-op, install MAME, get your hands on a ROM for Bubble Bobble, and play with a friend. Best. Game. Ever.

Borderlands 1-2-Pre-Sequel is good and funny in co-op
Portal 2 (isn't FPS at all, but you'll have a lot of fun)
F3AR (game isn't good as the first one, but in co-op could be funny)
Resident Evil [don't know what titles has co-op mode] - (I played few RE with a friend and I really enjoyed experience)
Left 4 Dead (you probably will like this one - eveyone likes hahahah)
Don't forget to check Sniper Elite V2 and 3 (as a fan of sniper weapons, I really recommend these ones)
There a lot of more, but can't reminder right now.

I can't think of any unmentioned FPS coop campaign games, but I can find a few, not necessarily FPS, but over-the-shoulder games that can be pretty fun in co-op campaign.
Saints Row The Third, Saints Row 4, and Saints Row: Gat out of Hell
Orcs Must Die! 2
Dungeon Defenders
Dead Island

Hey guys, would you kindly (yeah, BioShock 1 is still one of my favourite games) recommend me some good fps games in which campaign can be played in coop?
