Amazon gave a "we're sorry" $2 off coupon for running out of the Deal Of The Week, but it works on anything including $2 DLC. People are using it to get free DLC and then gifting them :)

If I enter the spanish version of Amazon (I'm from Spain) the Deal of the Week doesn't even appears (I think we don't have that kind of deal here).
I bought a DVD once in the US version of amazon, but this time they don't let me add the DLC to my cart.

That doesn't answer the question, it just states how you got caught for foolishly exploiting the offer that most people are using to get the DLC.

Having said that, how do they even cancel the order on something like that?

I know this isn't an Amazon.com support page, but I can't figure out how to apply the code to the order. There's no "add to cart" button, so you have to buy it with a credit card, and there's no way to apply the code before the card. Is it after entering the card info? I haven't checked that.

Yup, after the card info, then on the right you will have a gift / coupon / code thingy and you just need to paste teh code there and click whet needs to be clicked.
