Why can't I enter a giveaway quicker?

Because God Forbid half a second of your life is used to click the giveaway then click "Enter giveaway"

It only takes 1-2 seconds to load the page, dont complain...
If you think entering a giveaway is not worth your two clicks, then dont enter

People might actually have put something they want you to read in the giveaway description, perhaps? There could even be some vital information there, which will invalidate your entry if ignored.

Maybe there are some interesting discussions in the giveaway thread?

You may even, God forbid, wish to show a little gratitude to the giver for the opportunity to win a game they paid their hard earned cash to provide?

If you think the time it takes to enter [or perhaps, more appropriately, leech] a giveaway is "unreasonable", why not do everyone a favour and employ your oh-so-precious time and effort on some other more efficient website or activity?

Could use steamgifts plus or whatever it's called, helps a bit with that.

Because this is a website about a community of people giving gifts, not just a free game dispenser. Going to the giveaway page allows you to see what the gifter has to say in his description, along with reply to or thanking them if you feel so inclined.

at the risk of ridicule, you're the kind of sg user i really dislike. you take giveaways here not as a nice gesture but as a right, as if theres some soulless machine dispensing 'free shit thats yours for the taking', and not an actual person who doesnt HAVE to, but chose to, give something away to people.

..and you bitch and moan that there isn't a quicker way to bypass even the tiniest acknowledgement of those people.

I think you just answered your own question. Also, what's an unreasonable amount of time? I can enter 10 giveaways in 25 seconds. What can you do in the extra 20-30 seconds you would save? While making this thread you could have entered more giveaways. You need better time management it seems.

I agree, even better, I think that every person should instantly be entered whenever a new giveaway gets made.

Just use the "SGS bot" to automatically enter multiple giveaway instantaneously from multiple fake steam accounts and rig it to win every single time, you lazy sod. So many free games, so little time... :)
