India always gets charged in USD I think, but yes it says "Classic monthly" even though I haven't subscribed for almost a year

It's either Classic with mandatory USD payment globally or Choice with regional currency payment. It could well be that that would still be USD for India but I don't know that. To be able to pay in EUR, you would have to move to EURope.

Since Classic doesn't provide any other benefits over Choice anymore, you could just cancel your current plan completely and switch to Choice and see, what currency they'll try to charge you then.

Maybe someone can help me here: I have still 2 months credit from my yearly subscription and claimed the December Choice already. Can I make use of this offer anyways and stack the six months to my account? In settings I could only pause for the next month already (January). I just put in a support request along these lines. We'll see how it goes. I'd recommend doing the same thing though. The more people who point out that customer loyalty should be rewarded with the same deal, the better off we all are, I'm thinking.

It doesn't work if you are a current subscriber. Hence the request for them to extend the deal for my account by six months (since the previous six months is expiring). I don't really know how to explain this any better.

The problem with "offers" like these is 33% sounds like a great deal... except I paused more than one out of 3 months last year so technically I would be paying more than I most likely will in the next year for games I don't want.

Didn't work for me if I tried to pause the bundle. When I canceled it, though, it let me use the promo. It charged me the $8+tax immediately when I used the new promo, but my next billing date is showing up as February 25th so I'm assuming I'm already paid up for January's bundle.

After claiming this month's games I had to actually CANCEL my membership before it let me use the new promo. When I tried pausing it initially it wouldn't let me.
Looks like it worked though. I was immediately charged the $8+tax when signing up for the new promo, but my Humble membership is showing my next billing date isn't until February 25th, so I'm guessing January is already paid for now.

So what I am seeing in this thread is that you can't pause. But is it because you will lose the pricing or because pausing doesnt stop the count and if you skip 3 months, you will only have 3 months left with the discount?

So I cancelled my membership, in my settings I see "Status: Active Billing date: You are not currently scheduled to be billed". If I press rejoin it offers 11.99$.

Not really relevant here but beats necroing a thread... i noticed this expires on the 25th, was just wondering if there’s someone in the same boat as me. When there was a similar promo in the summer i contacted hb support because i didn’t get a coupon and i realized there’s a promo code right after. They didn’t give me a soon to expire coupon but one that expires january 7th so i'm all set. Anyone else?

I had to cancel my membership first, then I waited a few minutes, then used this link to check out at the $8 price:

Trying to check out from the actual Choice page (by choosing a game) did not work, it wanted me to pay the $12. I had to do the above, then after I paid the $8 for the month, I had to wait for a few minutes until the December Choice showed me I could redeem or gift the games in the page.

There is a great explanation on the last page:
If you still have the old coupon, you can buy the december bundle with the old one.
After that, you can then cancle and follow the steps in the comment.
Note:
You will be charged twice, but that's only because you pre pay for the january bundle if you have payed for the december bundle already. So the next auto charge is in february.

There were few benefits in the past, but currently, the only thing Classic gives is paying in USD no matter what region you're from (which due to currency exchange might be valuable somewhere?).

I had trouble getting the code to work when trying 2 hour ago and was just writing a ticket. But I tried it one more time... and it worked perfectly. So, maybe try it one more time... could be they turned it back on?

Amazing i had the July coupon with 6.49 euro per month and now i canceled and redeem the new DEC24 coupon i paid for the next January 2025 choice and will have for the next 5 months each month for 6.49 euro. The best offer for humble choice and much better than black friday offer. 89 euro vs 78 euro[6.49x12]. But we cant cancel or pause. If we pause we lose the offer. I am ok with that as each month have games i want to play.

Trying to rationalize buying it myself. Humble Bundle quality has degraded a lot in the past several years with months of low quality and repeat giveaways. Along with the fact they sell more keys than they have. The last time I was on monthly, I had to wait several months for a key before it was available.
I'm currently at check out and it has a check box to send as a gift. Do I play this game and reveal all keys the day it comes out?...
