this is not how i play ubisoft games, i usually play about 1h and then come back 3 months months later for a bit more. Honestly, i have no idea how people stand this formula on repeat, year after year

It's mindless popcorn action. For me it's comfy. I study at a university, so there's no real level of normalcy of steady schedules or routines, so engaging in something safe and predictable is honestly a breath of fresh air. Gets my mind off anxiety-creating stuff too.

Or you just order one month of Ubisoft+ subscription to finish most of them.
Cloudsaves are fantastic.

Free weekends are usually posted as that with [FREE WEEKEND] in the front of name of topic, with [FREE] mostly used only for actually free to keep games

It's cool, thanks for posting it :)
Free weekends aren't for me though... takes a weekend to download the game with my slow ass internet and I'm already out of time before I get to play it :D

Please, don't put [FREE] in the title, when it's only free for a weekend. I see that you already added TRIAL to the title, but it is invisible if you check discussions from the main page, since the title is too long. Always better to put this kind of information in the beginning.
Thanks for the heads up anyway

"Get up to 67% off", but I see only 50% off on Ubi Store and no discount on EPIC !!!

After many hours of trying to find workarounds, I can say you might be fine avoiding the free trial of Watch Dogs: Legion.
The game didn't recognize my controller. That's fine. I ran it through Steam to use its Controller Config tool. However, the old (Uplay shortcut) way of adding games didn't work so I had to use a different method (which was just adding the game executable directly like a sane system). Various changes occurred when Ubisoft moved from Uplay to Ubisoft Connect. Fine. I finally got my controller to work. Then I realized the audio completely muted on the first usage of the controller with no way to get it back.
I tried to play on keyboard. That kept the sound going. Maybe those rabid keyboard fanatics who can't stand peripherals could find it useable, but I found it to be a pain. (Frankly, I tend to feel those people should suck a Microsoft Sidewinder with true force feedback for all of their wannabe gatekeeping.)
In my forum searches, I realized Ubisoft is still releasing patches and hotfixes so free players might just be testers. I'll wait. Uninstalled.
