I would only like this if I owned Origin and cared.
But I don't.

Wonder what they have in store for gamers next...
Ubi, protect us from the vile pirates!

They probably changed their mind after that whole disaster with From Dust.

Ubisoft lied about it not needing an always-online DRM to users and also Steam, and as a result when the game was released Steam had to give refunds to a whole lot of people while Ubi made a patch two weeks later that changed the DRM to a not always online type. You could imagine the amount of loss and reputation damage Ubi suffered after the release lol.

Now, if I could only find a way to stop Origin rifling through my sock drawer every night, after I've gone to sleep, all would be right with the world :)

So that's why there's always one sock of a pair missing!

They've been doing this for a while now. This isn't new. And, yes, it hasn't gotten any less stupid.
Enjoy playing your single-player game with a mandatory always-online Internet nanny from Ubisoft keeping an eye on you so you don't dare make unauthorized copies of bits.

...and booted out of your gaming session without saving when your broadband connection hiccups.
Bad when you're on a nice reliable "first world" connection. About as much fun as a headcrab helmet on crappy internet connections in rural New Zealand.

Unfortunately, the damage is done. MAYBE i'll consider buying from them again...someday.
They still owe an apology for the "95% of PC gamers are pirates"-thingie though...

No more olways online DRM?:)) How about that crappy DRM that came out with Anno 2070? Not that Ubifail gives a damn about users. Such a shame, they have nice games :|

I realy hope they change this buying-protection from the older games like Settlers 7, so I can finaly go and buy them.

Fucking finally. I just hope they're gonna drop it from older games, too. Would like to get H6.

Splinter Cell Conviction is buggy as hell when it comes to online. I can occasionally play a match, but mostly it just doesn't find anyone.
Revelations seems more fine tuned. Ubisoft should really apply the same standard across all their games, both new and old.

Indeed. Fuck them. Stupid Uplay, bad support, bad (overly restrictive things like "max 5 activations" crap, buggy, security holes, need internet connecion even for entirely single player games) DRM for years in most of their products. Fuck Ubisoft in its' tiny little peehole.

i bought ac2 during a sale, to finally see what the game was like, it was one of the worst experiences of my gaming life. unskippable cgi, non-stop bright white flashing lights, i will never play it again. I thought it was supposed to be about being an assassin during the mideastern crusades but most of it was spent in some quasi-future idiotic matrix wannabe shit voiceacted HELL. one of the worst times you can spend as a human being.
so, dont even bother.

I totally get you. AC2 sucked balls compared to AC1 imo.
