Watchmen Coop

Soo today i purchased Watchmen the end is nigh 2 for me and for a friend of mine, the page says that there is coop multiplayer.
However ingame there is no option to do anything. Does anyone have any idea how to start coop?

I played that ages ago but i'm pretty sure game is local co-op only, no idea why they listed mp on store page since it's quite misleading
