How you know you win/how you claim the gift??????

When you win you'll know it, there's no missing that :P

How you get the one you won depends on what it is. If it's a key you'll find it here and if it's a steam gift you'll either get it via email or the creator will add you on Steam to personally deliver it.

The gifter will send the gift through mail, add you or post the key through SG (so regularly checking your won gifts helps).

You know you have won when the space cat gif pops up after logging in, saying "Congratulations! You won a new gift!".
Claiming the gift differs depending on what the giveaway creator decided, they could just add the key in plain text for you to copy to the Steam client, add a Humble Bundle gift link, send the gift to your e-mail, or contact you on Steam.
If you win, remember to be patient, as giveaway creators have up to 7 days to give you a game.

A GIF of a space cat will appear and the trophy thing at the top of your screen will be red and by clicking it you may get a key of you may get your win by other methods if it was a Steam gift, etc. But the gifter is a human being and may be busy so be a little patient in case he is busy or whatever...
