It was unclear and you have to click too many times to do something or find what you want in menu tabs.

Audio Surf sure had some interface problems. To access all the features of the game and competitiveness you had to log into their site outside the game, which was often buggy.
Parts of the menu and settings would forget what they were set to, what size they were, and such almost random things.
Game itself was consistently quite fun and challenging, though!
