Was just lamenting last night that i missed the Dragon Cliff sale a few weeks ago and its back up! Was about to get some other similar but seemingly lower quality versions so I'm glad i waited. Looking through my wishlist and there's a lot i might get actually.... Time to test my self control.

Edit: Only spent $10 at first so was proud of my self control but then saw they reverted the Muse Dash DLC to include all collab DLC again so bought that for $21 for my niece. Now debating on Lone Survival bundle or Humble Choice with $10 coupon...

Curious-- how do you know Fanatical's bundle release date, or is that just an assumption it will be released based on periodicity? Never noticed it being precisely times month to month or anything on my end

The Platinum is periodic. First Thursday of the month. Just like Humble Choice which is the first Tuesday of the month.

My son wants a second copy of Core Keeper to play multiplayer, and it's 40% off! Awesome. Think that's a historical low. Great game, if you want kind of a Minecraft mixed with Stardew kind of thing.

I’m very tempted to grab these, but some of them feel like a trap. Curious to hear what others think!

Ultimate Fishing Series Bundle -95% off - A no-brainer pickup for me
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada -90% off - Long overdue for a rebundle, in my opinion
Haven -90% off - Could this be headed for a Choice bundle? 👀
Far Cry Primal -90% off - Another no-brainer pickup for me
Turbo Dismount - 90% off - Look like a fun, silly little game
RIDE 3 - 90% off - DLCs are 85% off; Milestone has been long overdue for a bundle. Maybe a complete collection?

Not very interested in these, but they look like proper Choice fillers:
Isonzo - 80% off
ICARUS -80% off

Lots of Rocksmith DLCs are 45% off; those are going to get delisted somewhere in 2026.

Really nice deal for Haven, already have it on GOG from a bundle, but really nice price if you want a steam version.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It's tempting for sure, the FOMO is strong with this one. I will probably straightout buy it, cause I wouldn't want to miss it for this price. Even if it does get bundled later, it’s not like it was a €20 game.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

doubt haven will go to choice... well at least as a steam key.

it was already as a GOG key in a bundle where everything else was steam, so if it comes to choice it will likely be gog/epic

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I get what you're saying, but this publisher has bundled its other games as Steam keys before. And when there's a big discount like this, it often (not always) means something's cookin'. They might be trying to get that last bit of money before their game effectively becomes worth pennies.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada -90% off - Long overdue for a rebundle, in my opinion

Has a shitty DLC setup, one should buy the base game and the Space Marine and Tau DLCs, rather than the Complete Edition Bundle. Complete edition has the sountrack in it, that costs as much as the two actual gameplay DLC, inflating the price considerably. (5.50€ vs 8.70€)

Far Cry Primal -90% off - Another no-brainer pickup for me

Played this when I had a month of Ubi+, I found it really fun, so I'll gladly pick it up at this price.

It's called regional pricing. Most people don't mention the price, just the discount, because the price is so variable, it doesn't make sense.
It is US$4.99 (or a near equivalent) for most people, but that's how regional pricing is - the game isn't $15.99 retail in most countries.

335€ for the LCD Steam Deck is also not a bad deal. I have one as my gaming platform, and it's really powerful. Add a 500GB sd card and a dock that allows you to connect it to a monitor via HDMI and you have a good setup. It can even serve as a desktop PC for pretty much any office task.

as attractive as such a discount for the only Steam title in the Metal Max series is, Xeno Reborn has never been patched since release (compared Jan 2022 depots, June 2022 release)

There's also this concerning review June 12th by Cryosleep:
"The "reborn" version of this game cuts almost all character interactions, cut-scenes, story, art, etc from the game, not replaced just removed. The dlc's don't actually function"

If that's true, then on principle I can't buy it until they restore the interactions/scene/story/art

Supposedly the upsides per Wikipedia are "enhanced visuals, an ATB system, and altered vehicle physics" but as nice as that sounds if they actually did cut fluff just to create room for crunch, that's not a sacrifice worth making for me so I'll put it on ignore.

Maybe a game worth a "follow" in case PQube ever smartens up and does a 2026 patch for the game restoring the narrative elements.

June 13th review by McTeddy supports this being a problem too:
" It sounds like the base game took a pervy humor approach, and the remake cut that content without putting anything else in its place. "

So it sounds like it had cool Japanesee ecchi humor which got censored - heck no. Put it back or I won't even buy it for a dollar. Maybe I can find the pre-reborn of MM Xeno for the PS4 some day.

I'll probably not get much since I won a few games and a lot of things I'd get on sale are actually things I got on previous ones, but I can toss out a few recs.

Not counting ones already mentioned a good example is the three pack of games: Prodigal, Curse Crackers: For Whom the Belle Tolls, and Veritus. Individually they are $1.50 90% from $15 (for Prodigal or Curse), $4.90 30% from $9 (Veritus). All three are in a three-pack that's $6.30 79% from an original total of $39.
Prodigal and Veritus are essentially Majora's Mask if it was in an engine like Link's Awakening. Curse Crackers is closer to a mix of Zelda 2 and Kaeru no Tame but its insanely big.

Hades 1 is $6 75% from $25. I don't think I need to get into Hades given how popular its been.

Isles of Sea and Sky (originally Akurra) is $8 from $20. Sokobon-ish puzzle game but the dev really packed things to do and find in it.

Nexomon Extinction, for some insane reason, is 90% $1. I assume its in prep for Nexomon 3 but I really have no idea. Definitely a steal at that price for a full length Mon-game.

On the flipside while Yakuza series remains at a high sales, this is the lowest I've seen Judgment go for. 1 and Lost are $12 and $17 both 70% but from $40 and $60 respectively. Lost's DLC is $15 from $30. The whole pack is $38 instead of $45 from a grand total of $130. I've been waiting for a good sale on these games so if anyone else has been here's your heads up.
