When I click on the eye to hide a game, I don't want to have to hunt down all of its dlc, too. Also, I won't necessarily remember that the base game was uninteresting to me (& therefore hidden) when I passively come across the dlc.

If anyone thinks there could be a drawback to this it could be a toggle-able setting.

Also, hiding dlc for games I don't own will prevent me from discovering interesting games. (I've found a few games thanks to giveaways I can't enter)

+1 Yes, I don't want to see DLC's for games I don't want.

Nah, I hope this will not be added (or maybe with a toggle, but I'd never use that).

Doesn't the "Hide giveaways for DLC if you're missing the base game?" option do this already? You have to manually hide the DLCs for games you already own though.

As I said above, with that option I'd miss out on games I've never heard of. (If there aren't GAs for the base game itself.)

AS long as it's opt-in.

Take Borderlands 2 - I own GOTY, so the base game is hidden. Whilst I'm not really interested in the costumes I do want to see the headhunter packs as they actually offer new content.
