I think you only get a a free spin if you choose a free game which is also part of the Day of the Dead Sale.

Well, that's pretty cool. No crazy gimmicks or clickportal hoops to jump through. I clicked Beat Cop, entered the code, got a free Steam key. Can't complain about that!
