Seems funny, but if you activate it on steam, wouldnt the codes just be stored in your library? =S

That's what I thought, until I read the comments. Maybe they give you a key for the standard version, and then you'll have to download the DLC, and as said, can be shaddy.

Can anyone remember me the prices of Borderlands on steam when the 2k sale happened?

Same price. Most the people just sounds like disgruntled buyers, one being overseas and doesnt have a proper internet connection and the other apparently not using steam.

"Requires Steam account for game installation and activation"

Anyway if you check out the rest of the comments, people give it good reviews and the bad ones are from a fairwhile ago. If you want the game I'd recommend buying it now or if you are still having doubts, wait a few more weeks for the summer sale

Those reviews are for the disc version. The reviewer is saying the DLCs weren't on the disc and had to be downloaded.

So the reviews for both the disc version and the download version are the same?

Yes, but it said you were given a code, which you would also activate on steam, so it should be kept there for future download, I fail to see how a steam game wouldnt recognize you own the content already
