So, I'm not sure if this is something I can ask here. But if it's not, let me know and I will promptly close the thread.

Here's my issue, I get government money every 29th starting this month. Not saying the amount, the problem is I wont get it in time for the summer sale (I believe it ends the 18th or 22nd?).

My question is the following (yes I know this is crazy, and being untrusted with money is understandable): If anyone would transfer $130 to my paypal account so I could purchase games through the sale, when I get my money on the 29th (earliest July 29th, latest August 29th) I will give back the $130, and $20 on top of that for the effort.

OR, as a kind commenter suggested, someone buy the games I'm interested in (I'll let you know) up till the $130 cap, and then I pay you back when I get the money

I just don't want to miss out on the steam sale because I don't get money until a few days after.

I'm not expecting someone to actually assist me with this, due to it being a large amount of money, but I asked those of who were able to help me and they declined, so my last option is asking you all.

If you're interested in helping me out, post a comment and I'll add you on steam, and we can talk about it.

Thanks for your time

Steamtrades.com and probably not unless you've got shitloads of rep. I belive this is closer to trading/begging and both is not permitted here.
I doubt anyone will be ready to help you, but maybe you will get lucky.

Ah, didn't think that Steamtrades would be the better place to post, thanks
and yea, I don't see it happening, but it's my last option to try

Begging is against the rules. Also, if you're relying on government support for income maybe you shouldn't be spending money on video games. Society has enough leeches, we don't pay taxes for the government to give it to you so you can buy video games.

I don't believe this counts as begging, I'm asking for assistance which will get paid back in full

and the money I'm getting from the government is from Oprhan benefits from my Dad passing away a few years ago.

My first amount of money from the government is going to be rewarding myself for waiting for 4 bloody years to get my money, the rest is saving for uni

Asking people to give you money is not considered begging any more? Well that's good to know.

It's loaning money, did you not read it? I'm paying back in full with some extra.

Why are you being such an ass?

"Hello, I'm an anonymous stranger in the internet, will you send me $130? I'll totally pay you back with interest later"

You would have to be very new to the internet, or extremely stupid, to actually go in on something like this. Seriously.

Like I said, it's something to be skeptical over, it's the internet, and everyone lies. I've been cheated out of my fair share of shit too. But you know what? I'm not asking you to believe me, nor am I asking you to assist me in this. I know I'll be honest on this deal, and if someone else can trust me, then so be it. I'll stop replying to you now, since you're only being ignorant.

Asking people to borrow money. It isn't begging, nor trading. It is looking for a generous person, or a trustworthy person.

Joey, you are being awful quick to assume things. You don't know why he is getting the money, so before you call him a leecher, just think for a second.

Understandable (:
I probably would never do something like this either if I saw someone doing it
the only reason I'm even asking is because I know for certain I will have the money to pay it back

Ask for only like 20$ per person and you will give back like 25$ or something; I dunno really. :D

Well, good luck man with this mad plan. :D

It would probably easier if you asked someone to buy the games for you and when you get your money, you pay them and they send the games to you.
