Something that's been bothering me for a while now. When people create giveaways for older humble bundles, like, say, Humble Bundle #2, where do they get them from? I mean, have there really been that many people holding on to those old keys for that long? Or are they buying them from some other site?

I haven't encountered a site that sells HiB keys, but I do know people hold on to these things or forget that they bought multiple copies.

~$1.5, if you want to know.

HiB2 keys actually were sent to those who bought HiB4.

Either trading or they just.....have them.

Idk.

I wish I opened my Humble Bundle account one day and found an Aquaria key!

I don't know about the HiB but I ended up purchasing the IG8 bundle during happy hour and overall ended up with 15 copies when I was trying to go for 3... so I've been spacing them out a bit in giving them away, and wanted to post them when the site wasn't already inundated with other giveaways for the same thing.

I just bought several copies. And I still have some unredeemed gift urls, and some gifts that I sent to real life friends but I found out that they didn't redeem them (ungrateful sods), so I gave them away here.

I bought a couple 2,3,and 4. I just end up giving them to buddies when they go "I wish I bought it for [insert game]" so I just toss them out.
Also don't forget they were possible to purvhase at a penny back then.

You can't re-buy them if that's what you're asking. They probably bought couple copies when HIB.old was up and have extra or by trading

Buying and not using? Buying several copies? As steam inventory or key stores.

You could buy those early humble bundles for $.01 a piece. I'm sure some people bought tons of them. The later bundles required $1 minimum for steam keys, and people often bought extras and just have them laying around. I know I have a couple.

I know the earlier bundles didn't have steam keys so the later bundles threw in steam keys of the old games, hence why I had extras.

I just started using Steamgifts a couple of days ago, and I've got an unused Humble Bundle 3 that I'll be giving out soon. Before this site, I just wouldn't use the games when I didn't need them, so I've got a decent stash of games to give away.
