Best 3D Sonic Game (Adventures, Adventures 2, or Generation)

Hello,

I just bought the Sonic Hits Collection when it was on sale for $7.50 last Thursday (Sorry if you missed it, it was only on sale for 35 minutes). I have been wanting to play Songic Generations, but I was thinking, should I play the other games first?

Question: What is the best Sonic 3D game? Is it Sonic Adventures, Sonic Adventures 2, or Sonic Generations? What game should I play first?

Thank you for your input (Even if it wasn't what I was looking for). I saw a friend on my friends list playing that game recently, maybe I should see about playing with him.

I don't know anything about Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, I guess since I own it now, i should give it a shot. I love Mario cart, maybe its the closest thing I can get to mario cart on the PC.

Well since Generations levels is mostly a rehash from the classics so I say you should play from Sonic Adventure first then SA2, so that when you play Generations you get that classic feel.
