Hey guys. I just read that people actualy make money selling tf2 idems. I thought it was a joke, but I looked more into it, and they actually do. I'm new in tf2 world, and, as the title says, I'm looking for a tf2 expert because I have a lot of questions about how exactly you do that. And please don't link me, because I've red alot and I didn't understand crap.

I have game, I have time, I don't have the knowledge.

Simple, idle and hope for good items, open crates and hope for good items, then you try to trade these for games or PayPal money. I got like 10 good games this way, gotta love those hat-sucking-lovers :)

If you have no time, you can simply go on an idle server. Just search for idle. You'll find a few. ^^

Don't know the drop rate, but promotional items are an easier way, waiting for good items to drop will take some time, or you could try trading weapons for hats etc.

tf2 promos are great for selling specially the earbuds (now i don't know i quit from tf2 world, but when i played earbuds was the best item for buy\selling)

The Sam & Max bunny hat is still the best promo I think, but all the hats with special effects are worth more (some $150+ 0.0)

Only way to make money in TF2:
1)Acquire crates
2)Buy keys to open said crates
3)Get an unusual hat after you open about 100 of them
4)Sell the unusual for PayPal/games/other TF2 hats

The real way to make cash in TF2 is designing items and getting one picked to be sold by Valve. Selling hats is chump change by comparison.
