I never specifically picked one person to learn from. For me it's listening to a nice song or thinking of some fancy tunes/riffs and then trying to play it by memory or watching someone covering the song to find out about the right notes and rhythm. :)

I used to play the first one cracked for line-in (with some problems) because I couldn't get the real tone cable at a good price in my country (Argentina). they sell it at u$s 90+ :/

5 strings is very versatile and comfortable, not only for metal
My only problem is the distance between the strings and use a pick, but it is a matter of getting used to it

Synthesia, a friend is helping out, some german youtube tutorials and just by myself, hammering the keys till something good comes out :P
Synthesia is good to learn specific songs but i preferred to LEARN with internet tutorials and friends, but never forget to just try to play and have fun :D

I have a guitar that has been gathering dust for years.
I think Rocksmith might be a tool that would get me back into playing.
But, I think there are probably people even more eager to play this and I can't promise I'd play it, so, I'll leave this for others :P.
Hopefully I'll spot it bundled one day and get it cheap ;)

Hi everyone!
I am fairly new to the site and am trying to start my first giveaway.
As seen in the title its about the game Rocksmith. Its a steam gift.
My main goal is to give it to somebody who really is passionate about this art-form. As somebody who doesn't really have much money (lets be real im broke as f ;P) i know how good it can feel to give something for no reason but to give. I am learning the piano on my used musical keyboad, so i have no use for Rocksmith. Guitars are a tad bit to expensive for me right now.
So, how to enter...
