I had trouble playing on the keyboard as well, especially since I have never gamed with WASD. The arrow keys work too, but I would have to use my right hand for movement and it feels very wrong. I ended up using a controller and mapping the keyboard keys to it.
Edit: I just went back to check again and I could have used my left hand on the arrows since you can use up for jump, down for crouch, and the numpad enter to grab.
