or a game on STEAM got it's price changed, from 60$ to 30$... for example

That's a misinterpretation on enhanced Steam side. It happens often with packages - isthereanydeal shows the price for Hearts of Iron 3 US Infantry Spritepack.
But if you look at https://steamdb.info/sub/37223/ you see that the Russian price for the package is about 80% cheaper. And since it had a few sales at 80% this results in a 96% discounted price at sales time in Russia.

I don't think I have anything on the recently bundled list. sgtools still says I'm 8.59 and the only discrepancy that stands out is Risen 3. It did seem to come off the bundle list and sgtools is reporting it as a non-bundle game but it also seems to actually be back on the steamgifts bundle list. I guessed it was because the base price had come down so the Russian discount was no longer 95% and it wasn't 'exploited' anymore? But that wouldn't account for the whole drop anyway...

Reading through the thread retroactive bundle dates for a bunch of stuff got changed (Witcher 1+2), more stuff got retroactively bundled (Payday Wolfpack DLC). I assume it is down to Russian prices that I didn't have access to - but it is still stuff I bought on big discounts so whatever, I can hardly complain about 15% CV for stuff I got 90% off. Some AGFPRO stuff got added to the bundle list that should have been on there ages ago if people had been paying attention, I've taken hits there that I can't complain about. I think Deponia, etc are back to normal after being artificially inflated for CV due to the Daedelic bundle glitch.
It is all starting to add up - to summarise I'm just clearly not as generous as I thought I was. Or maybe those Black Mesa giveaways just weren't CV efficient and I should have been gifting Fallen Enchantress instead...

The bundle list is managed by one person only. He is dependent on reports about heavily discounted games from other support, mods or even the community. So it happens quite easily that single games or packages with big discounts will go unnoticed for some time.

So is there any way to check the status of a game when you create a GA? Example - when I gave away Lords of the Fallen I checked the bundle list and isthereanydeal, and didn't see any indication that the game wouldn't give full value. It did at first, but now it's showing up on the bundle list, retroactively dated to a week before I did the GA. Is there another place I could have checked to see that the game had recently dropped low enough somewhere to get it put on the list?

I think that the CV needed to reach each level gets updated every now and then, so that the levels still mean something (otherwise too many people would reach level 10 eventually). The idea of a fixed number of levels is to keep users grouped so that there is a certain % of users in each level, distributed exponentially. As the total CV keeps increasing, an update on the CV needed to reach each level is done periodically.

that was the idea during SGv2 beta - levels would be flowing dependant on Value given by community overall, like lvl 10 were supposed to be top X users, lvl 9 top X% of the community and so on. You don't give anything away yet a lot of people give - average value chancges, you loose level. But cg dropped the idea because he believed it would generate lots of tickets and topics by people who would be losing levels all the time. Long story short - even with fixed value for levels we get loads of topics about losing value/levels all the time anyway ;p

15% CV for a game that you only paid 5% for seems more than fair to me. 3x what you paid for it. And for actual bundles, you're getting a lot more CV than that.
As long as you give away a game before it's ever bundled or at bundle pricing, you'll still get full 100% CV for it.

15% is already very generous. In SGv1 bundle games could give you 0% and it did for most of users, because they were giving 20% of your non-bundle CV. So if you gave away bundle game worth 20$ you were getting 0$ value unless you gave away 100$ worth of non-bundle games ;) Good humble Bundle would require you to give few hundreds or even a thousand dollars worth of non-bundle games to give you 100% value ;p In SGv1 you could give hundreds of bundle games and if you didn't give non-bundles you would be stuck on 30$ CV (aka lvl1), now you can buy few good bundles for what - 10-15$ and you will get to lvl 3-4 easilly. And yet you ask to get even more value?

if you simply check the game - then no, you don't get fucked. checking regional price or if the game is now featured in a bundle, especially with complex addons like enhanced steam and comparing price to US store price takes seconds. If you cannot pay enough attention to do a siple check, one windows calculator calculation and instead demand 50% value instead of 15% because you were to lazy - you're simply paying for your laziness ;p
