So this might be unpopular opinion but i actually have no problems with playing games on epic store. No achivements? Don't care, used to care.
No community stuff? Don't care, used to care. Not saying these are not important but it doesn't really matter to me anymore. But my main concern is not these stuff i don't wanna talk about steam benefits, my problem with epic is i don't feel like buying games from there.

Not because i don't trust the store, i bought Detroit and WWZ. But i don't trust the free games they are handing out. Every time i feel like buying something from there i feel like what if this goes to free games list in couple weeks. That itch is making me stop buying games. The freebie system is good to attrack new users but its also risky bussiness imo.

My problem with Epic is that, other than these free games, the customer seems to be an afterthought in everything they do.

The free games should stop at the end of the year.

I totally understand how you feel. My backlog has a few games I bought which were later given away for free (by Humble or Ubisoft or whatever), and it does teach to buy fewer games you don't plan to immediately play.

Frankly I think it's a bit too much. They started with one game every two weeks, and now it's one or two games each week.

I completely get you. Pulled the trigger on TWD season 3 & 4 there, but right now I would not buy anything on the epic store unless I see myself playing them very soon, and they get very cheap. Actually, with the freebies on the Epic store, I don't really feel like I want to buy anything that's at least a bit mainstream elsewhere either. Pretty certain they won't put up any of the Combat Mission games for free there, but Celeste is up next, and I was close to buying that one during the Steam summer sale. And games like Enter the Gungeon, Thimbleweed Park & Edith Finch were all games I've been eyeing. before...

Who would have thought that they were gonna give Mutant Year Zero and Hyper Light Drifter for free. Which was the last Humble Bundle freebie? I haven´t seen a post here.

I would totally support certain developers on Epic as long as they don´t mess up with bad statements.
