Tickets taking so long (more mods needed?)

So I have been waiting for almost 3 weeks to get a new winner on a giveaway and still nothing (at this time i am afraid that my key got sold), I saw a lot of people in the discussions commenting that they waited even longer sometimes. :(
So my question is to the moderators and admins of this site is there a way to let more people help you? (new mods, automated system and so on..)

Agree but as I said almost 3 weeks, the break doesn't start in the beginning of December, at least not at my place XD
And it is a problem around the year not just now :)

Almost 3 weeks, my key is visible to him, he has been on this site so many times and on steam, and dude doesn't want to add me on steam at all (for me it is a bit strange that you don't activate a won gift, I mean it is right on the toolbar until you send feedback) O.o

Uhmm... you should mark it as not sent and it won't be visible to the winner.

Maybe support thinks you've eventually decided to send the gift to the winner since you've marked it as sent then :P

If it's a key from bundle you can try to revoke it but there's possibility that you will punish somebody else instead of the winner of your giveaway if it got sold or traded.
Sorry I didn't know what you've meant until I've read some of the recent comments

It's a key from Indiegala so not sure how would I revoke it, newer done that XD

hmm... other people here can correct me if im wrong, but i did not think they can see the key unless you acknowledge him as the winner, even though the key was submitted to the site/giveaway.

Hmmm not sure what you meant. If you send a key after the winner is drawn he sees it.

Dude didn't activate it for a week (now it's been much more). After that you may choose to ask for a new winner. Which I did since I can't contact him and he was on the site in the meantime

ahh yeah ok in that case hes likely sold it on im sorry to say. Best you can do is ask support to mark it as received since the key was supplied (and must have worked else he would have put not-recieved)... he might NOT have used it, but sorry to say at this point, a reroll might be more trouble than its worth (in my opinion)

Well if that happened it only happened cause the lack of mods on the site.
And asking them to mark it as received would mean bumping my ticket meaning it would be sent to the back of the line so who knows how long it would take XD

yes. But he already said that he made it visible.

The only case when it's done automatically is when there's over 50 keys.

well it was possible he thought the key was visible to him automatically because he submitted a key when making the giveaway, so i was just trying to make sure.

I agree that there should be more support members. We also need to consider that it is Christmas time, so people have their own lifes and not everyone sits 24 hours on steamgifts. Though waiting for re-roll over a week makes me kinda mad.

The last two rerolls I took part in took 1 week....they used to take 1-2 days.
