Synopsis:Mighty Number 9 is a game brought up by the left overs of ex-Capcom members and Inti-creates (Azure Striker Gunvolt, Megaman Zero/Battle Network series). While on paper this game was to be start of a new age of homage to the yesteryear of Megaman. Reality is far from the premise of the game. While yes there is Retro fitting for the Original Soundtrack. Yes you can play as Call for a stage and Challenge, but moreover it feels incomplete (possibly due to the DLC or extra features not implemented.) Nevertheless if you enjoyed Azure Striker Gunvolt, Megaman Zero type Speedrunning difficulty and mayhaps the classic homage to MegaMan. This game might be for you.
But beware. You may be left dissapointed at this time since there is alot of drama behind the development of this game even I never delved into. While it may be "OK" to some. Its not MEGAMAN GREAT. No. Its not mighty enough to be MEGAMAN GREAT. The whole Dashing premise may be daunting to some in the beginning and perhaps may trip people up like Gunvolt did with his TAGGING SYSTEM even in some places it might break the pace in the game if your aiming to get all absorption of enemies in a perfect score.
In the end: It might be worth it down the road after a couple more updates, sales and free DLC is implemented. But at this time. I wouldn't recommend playing it unless you have an itch for platforming and jumpin n dashin and shooting style.
It ain't no Megaman but it has a quarter of a heart of it.
