Give it time, the prices take a long time to load on the big sales. Used to be the front page counter started with "couple hundred games on sale" and over the next hour or two, the number went up to "many thousands" :)

Not everything appears right yet, give it a while(usually up to an hour) for everything to get their discounts. A lot of seemingly not discounted titles at the moment actually are part of the sale just not updated.

Steam is being really slow for me, welp. And what's this about Final Fantasy sale? I have plans already but this is really tempting me, I just finished FFVII and really want to play IX again. But it's just the beginning of the sale, let's see how many games on my wishlists will have a good discount first. If it can load soon.

The Franchise sale page shows the base price while individual game pages show the discounted price, it's 50% off for IX and it's pretty good especially since the discount for the games I really want are dissapointing :/.

Well right now I can load steam just fine but steamdb has yet update its data. So if they rely on store page like ordinary people do, there should be some changes by now right?
And btw I have nothing against steamdb I actually love it but I think they could be a little more effective at times

How many games do you check manually out? 20? With wishlist maybe 100. ITAD, SteamDB etc. are crawling the whole catalog. Of course they could rather publish single deals instead of batches, but they have probably reasons for this (e.g. just a few servers). I mean nowadays they're earning a little bit of money by refs, but I doubt that you can compare their equipment with the one of a usual online shop.
Furthermore Valve might block sources of such mass requests temporarily when they're experiencing such a load like right now...
Steam itself needs more than one hour in the big sales until all planned offers are shown. There are resellers who counter Steam's price, e.g. Amazon US (can be noticed even at smaller sales). Without flash GAs - why do you need to compare or even buy today?
