PREORDER PRICE IS NOW THE MINIMUM PRICE! YOU CANNOT GET THIS FOR LESS THAN $3.99 ANYMORE!

PREORDER THE VALENTINE'S BUNDLE
You can now blind pre-order Indie Royale's Valentine's Bundle at a recommended €/£/$10 or €/£/$5 USD contribution, and a minimum of $3.99 USD.

The games offered this time include a fantastical first-person action-adventure game (Steam for PC), an IGF-nominated puzzle adventure title (Steam for PC and Mac, Desura for PC and Linux, DRM-free PC, Mac and Linux download), a 'scorching' single and multiplayer arcade-strategy game (Steam for PC and Mac), and a world premiere on PC for a pair of retro RPG-defense games (Desura for PC, DRM-free PC download).

Those who optionally pre-order now will get game access as soon as the bundle launches, lock in the lowest price, and receive as a bonus One Life Left's eclectic 'Music To Play Games By Too' compilation, available for the first time ever digitally (this bonus is also available to those who pay more than the minimum price during the bundle.)

The Valentine's Bundle will launch fully later this week at $3.99 USD and up - watch our Twitter feed or Facebook page for immediate notice at launch time.

To everybody who's ruling out game because they're not on Desura: For almost ALL the bundles with games not on Desura, they put them on Desura on the day of or before the bundle launch.

Then why did Steam list it as indie? It even got a "Best Indie Game" award.

Shank was in the Humble Indie Bundle 4. Publisher? Electronic Arts.

HIB≠IR
EA≠WB

You can all feel free to hope for Bastion and be disappointed later. Suit yourself.

I disagree.

Humble Indie Bundle = IndieRoyale
Because both sell indie titles.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment = Electronic Arts
Because both are pretty big publishers.

Oh, and I already own Bastion. I don't think it'll be in any indie bundle anytime soon, it's too famous and probably sells too well, but this doesn't change the fact that it is indeed an indie title.

Warner Bros is the publiusher for XBLA version, they needed a publisher to get it on XBLA, but they are an indie company

Permalink

This is not correct. WB publishes every version. Which is why for instance, when GMG had a WB sale a few weeks ago, Bastion was on sale as well.

Supergiant Games had Warner as publishing partner, development wasn't funded by them. Yes indie. Tbh I'm expecting it in HIB sometime this year.

Not paying without knowing the games in the bundle.

by the time you find out it'll probably $5 or more.

So? If it will have great games which I think are worth $4, paying an extra dollar won't be a huge issue. If it will have games I don't want then I saved $4. Not that I really need more games anyway.

Pre-order and check the games when it comes out. Don't like it? Contact them and ask your money back (only if you didn't use anything). According to their Facebook, they actually do this :)

That's actually what I'm going to be doing. I find I like Indie Royale, but I can be picky about games. Since I've liked a good proportion of the Indie Royales, I'll probably want to keep mine, but who knows? :)

I've got so many indie games now that I haven't played and so many soundtracks I haven't listened to yet. I'll buy it if there's a game I've really been wanting but definitely won't pre-order. If it's worth $4 it'll be worth $5 or $6 later on.

It's also already premiered. The text implies it's probably an iOS, XBLA, or PSN game.

if "scorching..." is HOARD, maybe the DLC?

As a preorderer, you don't have to pay more than the minimum to get extras, which means you won't get anything else if you pay $5, $10 and so on.

  1. You dont even know what games are included, it usually includes games that would cost $10+ each if bought seperately.
  2. It's always been that price. Well, previously it started at 2.99 but after people exploited bundles, they decided to just go with preorder price as starting price.
  3. ?????
