In my email i have a folder called marketplace sales and i've been selling cards since 6/7/2013 and at first i was selling cards for 75cents to 50cents every card..now it's way lower. But what i'm wondering is if their is an extension that can check my email folders and add up all the sales for me so i don't have to. I literally have every single sale of cards i've ever done in this one folder and meant to go through it and add it up one day to see how much i've made. But it's so big now it would take an hour or two and their is the possibility of messing up along the way.

Well you can just let it farm when you're doing something other than playing games on steam,

Selling trading cards is like picking up aluminum cans off the street for recycling.

Can you make money? ... sure. I can make money growing my hair and selling it, too.
Is it worth the time and effort? ... there are probably much more productive (and profitable) ways to spend your time. -_-

We have a job here, literally doing just that: picking up aluminum cans off the street for recycling. They earn enough money for a living. Some even become rich and open big warehouse to trade recyclable materials.

We don't have that here. There's no real money in it (randomly picking up cans, that is - we do have recycling centers).

Well, at least you do have trash cans that people use to throw trash in. Only main streets in my country have trash cans, and even if they have, people still just drop their trash in front of the houses. Heaven for the garbage diggers.

Damn, that's terrible :X Every home here has recycling bins that get picked up weekly by the city, or we can save it to return for a bit of cash ourselves (usually too much trouble to save it, load it up, and drive it out there). Even at work, there are 4 different types of recycling bins in the office (paper, plastic, regular trash, and aluminum cans). The ladies yell at us if we put something in the wrong bin, too. :X

If you intend to leave PC on only to farm it's not, electric bills will be higher than what you earn. Bur if you farm when you are doing your other usual stuff like working, surfing internet, watching movies or YT, playing non-steam games etc it's some nice extra money for sales ;)

Ofc it all depends on your library size and how many cards you have to idle. Someone will get 5$ game per year, someone with massive library will get tens of games. I so far earned 863,23€ Steam Wallet since Trading Cards got introduced. Since I almost always idle when I do other stuff, my electric bills didn't change, so it's a lot of extra games for me tbh ;)

I took my laptop to my school, use ASF while charging my laptop. So basically my school pays for my expenses to farm cards :3
