[ Update ]

To The Moon is now available on Steam and 20% off.

Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts have peculiar jobs: They give people another chance to live, all the way from the very beginning... but only in their patients' heads.

Due to the severity of the operation, the new life becomes the last thing the patients remember before drawing their last breath. Thus, the operation is only done to people on their deathbeds, to fulfill what they wish they had done with their lives, but didnโ€™t.

This particular story follows their attempt to fulfill the dream of an elderly man, Johnny. With each step back in time, a new fragment of Johnny's past is revealed. As the two doctors piece together the puzzled events that spanned a life time, they seek to find out just why the frail old man chose his dying wish to be what it is.

And Johnny's last wish is, of course... to go to the moon.

offer ends September 14th at 10AM Pacific Time.

I don't recall you as a guy who don't care about graphics. Morrowind, remember? :P

Why is everyone so ragey about that?

I really don't mind old graphics.....

Indie games are more about the art style than graphics in general, sometimes they got gameplay

It's a fun game, but it's ONLY for the story. It has little to no replay value unless you're letting a friend play or something. I think it's worth the experience, it was lovely.

If you lose track of where you are it can be frustrating trying to pick up after setting it down for awhile, trying to figure out what it is you were supposed to do

I have heaed that the story in this game is pretty amazing, but the gameplay seems a little uninspiring. I'm most likely going to pass this game, I'm really not the type of person who can sit through a game only for the story.

It's more in the vein of a visual novel.

I dont know if you can call this a game its more like a interactive story

That's so true. And that's exactly the reason why I'm not so interested about this "game".

Good, very good. I'll buy it as a part of HIB6 :)

How can you know if it will be in HIB?

Cause almost all best indie games available on Steam sooner or later will be included in HIB. And this is a very reputable game.

It's made with RPG Maker Engine => No Linux or Mac => Probably no HiB

Alan Wake also was X360 only :)

RPG Maker 2000 is a 12 year old engine which has 2 following engines now (which aren't available on these OS, too). It's closed source and IMO there's no chance for an update, so it can build executables for other OS. Only chance is to rewrite the whole game in another engine, as far as I know. But there's a chance for other bundles which don't care about this like Indie Royale or Indie Gala :)

Maybe more IR or Bemine, I clearly don't see the game as a IG one.

You think that this game will be in the HiB right after it's release?

A long time coming, surprised such an acclaimed game isn't already on the platform, I hope they add achievements.

There are a lot of pop culture references, the story is interesting enough to keep you emphasizing with the client, a nice laid back experience.

at the beginning it seems like it will be cool... but really its like an old school rpg if you cut out everything but the cut scenes

10 quids on the next Humble having it. 20 on some future Humbles having it :D

But even if not, if the price is reasonable, I might go for it. Seems like my kinda thing, but for a mere 3-4 hours of gameplay and a with a linear story, it's meh. It was meh about Limbo too, but that was 6 hours.

New Humble Bundle soon too, would be nice to see early steam access from a bundle or day in date release, or else I'll probably end up with an extra copy

It'll probably be $11.95, the sale price on their webpage

That's not really a steam friendly price, can expect a sale with it's steam launch too as everything does, probably be $10, deluxe version, soundtrack etc
