Hello, I bought a BTA humble bundle for 2 keys(cost more than it cost to buy the bundle) and it recently got refunded and the games were taken off my steam account last night, is there anyway to get back to keys I traded or no?

Talk with the trader you bought it from, and see if he can get you another copy. If they aren't cooperative, there's not much you can do.

I'm sorry but pretty much you won't get them back since Steam doesn't encourage to trade with keys (i mean game keys, not TF2 keys) and they won't do anything about it, the only thing you can try to do is to talk to the guy you traded with and ask for an explanation and try to get your 2 TF2 keys back which probably won't work either since it sounds like that guy just scammed you.

Next time try to sell your keys for pp. Then buy the humble bundle yourself.

Humble Bundles have had tons of credit card frauds lately (there is even a sticky post on SteamTrades about it).

Sounds like you traded with someone who bought the bundle with a stolen CC so when Humble revoked them you lost your games. There is no way to get them back, you were scammed :/

Sorry for my previous post, I misunderstood what you wrote. You can still report the scammer to Steam, but the chance you can get your items back are very low.

He will NOT get them back, Steam support recovers items only if the account was hijacked.

If you traded TF 2 Keys (or CSGO/DOTA 2) for Steam gifts and this happened. You would be fine. But since this has to do with game keys, they wont touch it. Check the rules of the Steam Trade forums.

Avoid Humble Bundle trades with people you can trust. I also got one HB removed, and it wasnt suspicious because the price was right. This problem is also affecting legit trades, I havent been able to trade a HB for like a month due to this problem...

I trade non BTA for 1 key, no more, no less.
Don't go with cheap trades and if you want 1:1 value for something someone has to have some trouble getting don't trust the trade. Check rep and better luck next time.

I found a guy with 200+ rep on ST and got him to buy the jumbo bundle for me. It was a bit pricey, but it's worth it since I know my games are safe.

And no you cannot get your keys back. Key trading is a risky business, which is why I never buy keys from people. steam gifts for TF2 keys or paypal. It costs more but its a lot safer for the buyer.

With all this hullabaloo, people need to start just getting their own HB's

I stick to trading with people I know outside of Steam and trust. While I miss some (probably most) good trades, I have yet to be scammed.

Caveat emptor.

It's a specific scam that's been done for awhile now.

Just sell your keys and then use that money to buy the humble bundle yourself. Why bother with a scamming middleman when it's not necessary? There's no way to avoid that scam as refunding a humble bundle is extremely easy.
