In order to believe this, I'd have to first believe the demo, while cool, was not heavily bullshoted.
Anyways, it just sounds sort of like Dark Souls/Demon Souls which a LOT of games seem to be cribbing from lately in regards to how the online works. I imagine it's easy enough to turn off.

I hope so. I mean the demo was cool but yea it was very much scripted and he was doing exactly what he needed to do and where. Very much a "hand-held" demo. Still it has potential.

Yeah. I like their idea of coincidence though. You're both going for the same target, so you might as well help each other out. Or if someone explodes a building beside you, lay off your target for a bit or else they'll think you did both.
Mite b cool. Hope they don't fuck it up though.

That is an interesting concept. Unfortunately, it means interacting with random people online. Guess what a lot of them will be doing after their first playthrough ?
Trying to do all they can to screw over whoever they get put in a game with.

That might turn into a problem if you're a big baby, yes. People interfering in singleplayer experiences might just make things interesting, refer to games like Demon's Souls and Journey. Contrary to popular belief, not everyone is an asshole.

But those who are, would troll hard which may or may not add to the experience.

Are people ITT really judging a game by a teaser trailer seen on e3? Seriously?

Of course it is. I'm the only one that got it straight away? It was obvious from the reveal. They zoom out to another character that had a nickname over his head, then they zoom out on the map and there are MORE of those characters around the city. It was obviously going to have an online component.
I honestly don't see why everyone is worked up about that. We really don't know anything about how the multiplayer factor will act, or if it is ABSOLUTELY needed to play the game even in singleplayer. It could be as light as in Dark Souls or Journey.

And most of them have inherent problems that can ruin the game, Diablo with connections errors so you can't play... Also BF3 with.. well EA controlling it. Also most people who play, Can be dicks... Especially in a (Non-private) co-op environment game that This looks like.

This makes me sad. DNA can and will mutate and mutations never lead to super powers IRL. Instead, this game could get cancer.

I still don't understand. What is this game about and why is everyone talking about it?
