Is it easy to ask customer service for help?

I got email for email change of my Origin account.

Updated:
I contacted EA CS. He asked my birthday and game code, and then changed everything back.

I logged on my account and found the hacker changed photo to his picture and deleted all my friends.

You got an e-mail asking to confirm changing your e-mail address linked to the account? I would report that to customer support and change your passwords to your account and e-mail (after making sure that your computer is free of a keylogger).

Looks like you didn't hear about the fiasco like 2 weeks ago. tons of people had this happen. They change everything on your profile so it will be hard tryiing to convince origin that its your account.

I didn't hear about it. Were Origin accounts compromised?

Someone has hijacked your account. I'd contact customer support as soon as possible. Tell them any details you know of what has happened. Change the password to your e-mail. Hopefully they will get back to you quickly. Best of luck.

A friend has had his account hacked.
The guy changed his origin id, email and password of course.
He has recovered his account very fast (proof of purchase for some of the games)/
Bad part is that the changes to his bf3 profile could not be undone. Luckily, the thief did not use aimbots.

It's funny that he use his photo as avatar.

Didn't get hacked. Mine was fine. Also, I changed my password as soon as I heard that EA got hacked. Funny EA didn't put up some notice on Origin advising people to change password like valve did last year.

Somehow my password had apparently got changed by one of the hackers over the weekend so I wasn't able to login to the Sims 3 page (Sims 3 and Spore are the only games I have the Origin client for)...but fortunately they hadn't found the time to change the Email or any other crucial info associated with my account, so all I had to do was reset my password to regain control.

Yes, that happened to me a few weeks ago. I couldn't be bothered to try to recover it.
