I was considering doing a giveaway for the second place game since I knew for a fact Fallout 4 would win.

We need more cyberpunk in gaming! There's like Mankind Divided in February, and then Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Project RED (Witcher), but that's like out in 2017.

Sadly I'm not going to enter the fallout 4 GA, I'll break down and preorder it long before that I think. It's something I honestly wanted to wait for but I don't know if I'll be able to. I don't generally buy AAA games at full price, almost anything from bethesda however at least pricks up my ears.
Problem is I always end up buying 2 copies, 1 for the base game and 1 for the dlc/goty editions.

If you're able to do it now. Greenmangaming has their 23% off coupon that does work for Fallout 4. It comes out to something like $46. It's where I bought the copy for this giveaway. I think the coupon expires tomorrow, but they'll more than likely have another before it releases.

Of course it won, Zenimax turned it into another CoD. Not just in gameplay but in the sense that it is a "cool" game now and all the kids want it because that's a game you must have even if you don't know what the hell fallout is.

Fallout is popular because it was made popular by simplifying it to a TES clone (which was already simplified down to an open-world hack & slash) to make it open to the console gamers. Ask any number of "Fallout fans" how many games they did actually play to the end of the series, which consists currently of seven games (the eight being FO4) and two unofficial games. The answer is usually "Fallout 3 and played some New Vegas/finished NV with Yes Man".
Nothing is wrong with it, but they also have to realise that they are not fans of Fallout, they are fans of Fallout 3– because Fallout was a series of a different genre, aimed at an entirely different demographic. Same with Elder Scrolls, by the way, only that was an exploration-based dungeon crawler action game that was turned into a dungeon crawler hack & slash, whereas Fallout was an isometric TBcRPG turned into a dungeon crawler FPS.
(This is why fans of FO3 and fans of New Vegas can never reach any sort of agreement, one being a TES with guns, the other being the real sequel to the original games with the TES assets forced on the developers. They are not even the same genre.)
