I was just joking. I was trying to make a point that I wasn't quoting that. I just felt like saying 'grind my gears'. In fact, I had completely forgotten about that from Family Guy.

Not really random. Shobo set that rule for games that had pricing errors such as Just Cause.

people abuse sales on here all the time, so it is pretty random that 90 is the cut off point.

this is true. It is why Just Cause is on the bundle list. Just cause was 96% off during the last summer sale.

It also seems to depend on the level of abuse the sale gets. Most people (me included) didn't realize the tomb raider sale was a glitch until it was fixed so it wasn't abused anywhere near as much as Just Cause.

I remember Just Cause was literally all over the first 2 pages... no other game giveaways whatsoever, at least on my SG profile.

It's actually 95% off and only if easily abused. Easily abused means something put up at 99% off for 30 seconds will not be on the list. Unfortunately, there is no cutoff as to what abused and not is.
