Not sure if it's a "deal" case exactly, but C&C3 with addon, as well as RA3 with addon got reduced prices. Current prices now are about 1/7th of base price from yesterday. This discount is not stated as a discount, but as a new price tag. They were cheaper only once, last year, when they were put on 90% discount.

They are also adding other legacy EA games like dungeon keeper and simcity 3000
Not sure what is the point of including CNC1 and Red Alert 1 in the package if they are available as the remastered collection.

It's exact copy of C&C collection on Origin client. It's nice to have original files for possible modding or engine ports etc., even though in this case C&C/RA (also Tiberian Sun) are freeware for some time.

If you want to buy individual games instead of The Ultimate Collection bundle, try the add-to-cart trick using one of these sub numbers: https://steamdb.info/bundle/39394/#subs

I really hope, seeing this migration to Steam, that they do not plan to phase out their Origin client.
Also, from quick look, Wing Commander and Ultima series are missing so far.

Why not? Bethesda did the same thing and allowed you to transfer all your games to Steam for free.
If EA did the same it would be great. Then they can focus more on making games

Then why run with these massive discounts, just to piss people off who potentially re-bought those games on Steam, just to offer migration later? Smells fishy.

...over here they're no longer available individualy, either you buy a bundle of them with a bunch of stuff you may not want, or you buy a stupid subscription lol

i can understand why they did that, they did a pretty decent amount of work, and it should be more chance to get some revenue than selling a few copies for 1.5$ which people choose.

they are from before my time so they don't mean much to me. I just wouldn't mind trying out one maybe two but won't be touching the rest, so for that the bundle has just made it 2 to 4 times as expensive :|

Unofficially they are available, and maybe officially once the sale is over (March 21?).
