Who knows? If groups like that push keys out of devs like they do, they can have alts too probably (just like for writing fake reviews on steam). Just best not to make too much assumptions here. ;)

Atleast the ref link seems to be removed.

I agree,that's quite shady.
If I see a giveaway which I would like to share,next time I should try to get a direct link to the gleam.io site as long as the giveaway doesn't include referrals,right?

Yep that is correct, direct link (which i don't know how to get a straight gleam.io link), no referrals is fine.

It probably got moved or deleted, it's just Rex being a bit shady, as are most of those gleam.io giveaways.
