I checked it when this was announced, saw that it was full of P2W freemium junk that you can find everywhere online, and never looked at it again.
Have things changed in the meantime ?

This isn't for native PC games, it's for ported mobile games, webgames, and games especially developed for Gameroom. It can't be compared to Steam at all in my opinion.

Basically it's like the flash games of the past, except now it costs you money.
