Shank is pretty fun and simple. I generally play TF2 for some brainless fun.

Dungeons of Dredmor. Clearing 10 floor will take about 30 hours. That is, if you can reach the 10th floor.

Can't go past Plants vs Zombies in my opinion. You can play it for ten minutes or you can play it for hours, I've wasted a whole bunch of time on that game.

Just Cause 2!!!...Sorry, it's my favorite game (I played 260 hours and counting). The story is lame, but if you just want to mess around in a 1035.55 km2 (400 square miles) island while blowing up cars and stuff while parachuting with a grappling hook with military choppers after you, this is the best choice. Oh, and it has lots of mods, too.
