What's the problem? This is Steam Gifts, they're giving away a gift of a legal game on Steam.

If you don't like it, don't enter. Enjoy the extra points to enter giveaways you do want. Get the add-on to filter out the giveaways you don't want. And regardless of what you think, I'm sure there are still people out there that want it.

We need a filter option.

Private/Group giveaways still raise contribution levels - no different than public.

You hate The Ship giveaway spam ? Atleast there you can Ignore it with the add-on for Steam Gifts... I hate the "Stop giving away The Ship" forum themes XD! Just put them on ignore. The mods will decide if they are going to ban everyone exploiting this or just give them 0$ contribution for The Ship.

Well, I could have just left them sitting there in my inventory for all of eternity, or I could have given them to someone who might actually end up playing the game eventually. Funny how the second option seems the more rational one.
